Time to show us your bowling skills or at least come and learn how to play bowls, so that you can discover a love for something else! I think one of the best things about lawn bowls is that you get back in touch with nature and are able to be in an outdoor environment soaking up some good ol' sunshine and Vitamin D!
Here is something to help you increase your knowledge of Lawn Bowls before you attend! Lawn Bowls is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a "jack" or "kitty". It is played on a pitch which may be flat (for "flat-green bowls") or convex or uneven (for "crown-green bowls"). It is normally played outdoors although there are some indoor venues and the surface is either natural grass, artificial turf, or cotula.
So please don't miss this horrific, thrilling and terrifying afternoon of Barefoot Rock n Lawn Bowls and social Rock n Roll dancing in the evening on Saturday, 27th October 2012 at Rydalmere Bowling Club from 3pm for $42pp. The night is set to impress and provide you with a different experience to rave about until the next event!
